Recreation Center Banner Mobile.

The photos show two angles on the moving fabric sculpture from the 2nd floor balcony. The balanced mobile hangs from one point. The light weight of the materials and the translucense of the fabric create a beautiful and changing suspended atrium artwork reminiscent of Alexander Calder. Hung on swivels, the parts rotate and revolve and sway gently in the interior air currents. The work cantilevers 18 feet out from the central attachment. The two top arms have 45 degrees of play around the circumference of the total area of the work. The total size is 30 feet by 20 feet by 15 feet.
