Children's Playhouses and Furniture

This playful tipi, called the "Legend Lodge," is a storytelling tipi. Storytellers gather the children into the tipi in the Buell Children's Museum to tell native american stories that relate to animals. Mettje Swift created the tipi in 2000. In 2001 she was commissioned by the Museum to create ten animal costumes and five huge stuffed lizards to complete the exhibit.

Palapas - Sun Umbrellas and Canopies

The translucent nylon makes beautiful canopies. Each installation is custom designed. Canopy tapestry is suitable for many installations; new, free standing structures or covering structures that already exist. The nylon is ultra violet protected and fire retardant.
