The Bear Lodge is an animal spirit tipi (teepee). This intimate dream lodge focuses the energy of the Bear into a colorful interior. The bear embodies the power of introspection. It is introspection which allows us to accomplish our goals and dreams. Enter the tipi and spend quiet time, sleep, read, play, and regain strength like a bear in hibernation.
The fabric is light reactive and the colors within will change according to the lighting outside and the time of day. Even moonlight lilluminates the fabric.
The Bear Lodge tipi is 12 feet in diameter, 12 tall and sets up using 15 foot bamboo poles. It comes with directions for set up, poles, a narrow liner for the inside and “flags” for the tops of the poles. The tipi takes 11 poles to set it up.

Festivals and Celebrations are the perfect venue for Mettje to create imaginative collections of flags and banners, palapas, umbrellas, and canopies to animate the festival grounds. Her work can be way finding banners to lead festival goers to where they want to be. Call for more information.
